NET PROGRAMMER
POSITION SUMMARY:
The .Net Programmer will assist in the analysis, design,
development, testing, implementation and ongoing maintenance of the
proprietary Product Development System and any other MS tool based
applications.
FUNCTIONS OF
THE JOB
Essential Functions:
-
Define
program requirements and develop program design specifications
per department/company requirements.

Develop, test
and apply enhancements.

Demonstrate
technical knowledge and trouble-shooting techniques to determine
program problems and system performance issues and to quickly
provide effective solutions.

Complete
programming tasks within expected time frame with minimal
revisions.

Prepare for
and arrange monthly stewardship meeting with Director.
-
Perform other
duties or special projects as needed.
POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in
Computer Science or related filed with equivalent capabilities.
Experience:
· Minimum
of two years experience working in software application development
in various languages and platforms
· Experience
with Microsoft .NET development environment, including Visual Studio
.NET 2005 and C# programming language
· Experience
with Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005
· Experience
with Microsoft IIS, Windows Server 2000/2003
· Experience
with Web Services
· Expert
.NET 2.0 framework developer using C# (emphasis on ASP.NET)
· Understanding
of relational database environments focused on the Microsoft SQL
Server platform
- Basic
database design concepts using stored procedures/triggers/etc.

Best Practices utilizing
ADO.NET
·
Experience
with Microsoft AJAX and JavaScript is a plus
